The saga that resulted in Anthony Davis finally becoming the next star Los Angeles Lakers big man lasted several months. In the end, it was a sigh of relief for everyone involved as the Lakers got their second star alongside LeBron James, the Pelicans initiated a major rebuild and Davis joined his preferred team.
Now, the buzz in Los Angeles for basketball is echoing. The Lakers seem to be officially back in the spotlight while the LA Clippers stole some of the shine in acquiring Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in the same offseason.
On Tuesday, Davis appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to discuss how he heard about the news and what LeBron’s reaction was immediately afterward. He also told everyone about what Taco Tuesdays at the James household are like and spoke about his role on Space Jam. Finally, the superstar spoke about Leonard’s free agency decision and being excited to match up with another star-powered LA team this coming season.
