Podcast: Lakers close strong to hand the Nuggets their first loss

After a disappointing 0-3 start, the Los Angeles Lakers have put together a strong response.

Wednesday, the Lakers went into Phoenix and dominated the Suns to earn their first victory of the LeBron James era. The 4-0 Denver Nuggets were waiting for the Lakers to return home for their first back-to-back, but it didn’t matter.

The two teams went back and forth all night, but the Lakers took control in the fourth quarter with some stingy defense and timely buckets on the other end. LeBron and company handed the Nuggets their first loss of the season to get to 2-3.
