The Los Angeles Lakers have officially released their 2019 NBA Preseason schedule. The team will play a total of six games in 13 days but will only face two opponents.

The Lakers’ preseason starts by helping the Golden State Warriors open up the Chase Center in San Francisco on October 5th. It will be the first-ever basketball game in the Warriors’ new home.

Following the historic game, the Lakers will travel to China where they will play two games against the Brooklyn Nets in Shanghai and Schenzhen. It’s the Lakers’ second visit to China and their first since 2013.

The Lakers will then return stateside to round out their preseason with two games against the Warriors at Staples Center and will finish it off with a final matchup back at the Chase Center.

The final preseason game will be played on October 18th.

The purple and gold will be hoping to add another superstar to their fold this summer to join LeBron James before they head to China where their popularity will certainly sell out arenas. For LA fans, there will only be two chances to catch the latest iteration of the team before the start of the regular season.

Ticket information has not yet been released.
