LeBron James “happy to be living in Los Angeles”

LeBron James has spent a year in a Lakers jersey. His time here has been nothing short of turbulent. The highs have been there, but with that, there have been all time lows for the King. The front office is at war with one of their former employees. The fans are upset at everything. There have been whispers of a potential trade for Ben Simmons for LeBron. Despite this, there’s no indication that LeBron wants to leave the city of Angeles.

As per Joe Vardon of The Athletic’s Tampering podcast:

“He is so happy to be living in Los Angeles. This is where they want to be. LeBron does not want to play anywhere else. I would be shocked if at any point for the remainder of his career, so long as LeBron James Jr. is in high school in Greater Los Angeles, that he would have any interest in playing anywhere else.”

The trade talks were rebuffed by that former employee on First Take yesterday. Magic Johnson spoke about how the possibility of a trade will not happen.

If what Vardon is saying is true, LeBron is going to be with the purple and gold for another 2 seasons (or he’s going to the Clippers).

With the introduction of Frank Vogel just yesterday, it’s time the Lakers do everything they can to get LeBron James some help in a pivotal offseason to keep him happy.
