What felt like the inevitable has become a reality.

Anthony Davis has requested a trade from the New Orleans Pelicans, and the Los Angeles Lakers fit the type of team he would like to be traded to.

Davis is hoping to be dealt to a large market franchise with a chance of competing for championships. Sound familiar?

With LeBron James in the fold, the Lakers are preparing to make their run at yet bringing another generational big man to Los Angeles to put on a purple and gold uniform. There are a number of questions to be answered regarding this topic.
