It’s good to be the King.

For the second time in three games, LeBron James showed everyone why he’s still the best player in the world, leading his Los Angeles Lakers to a blowout win against the Miami Heat.

Despite playing in the second game of a back-to-back, James showed no signs of fatigue, setting the tone early in his return to Miami where he won his first two championships. James finished the game with 51 points (19-31, 6-8 from three), eight rebounds and three assists. He also added two steals and a block.

The Lakers never trailed, including leading by double-digits for the entirety of the second half, en route to a 113 to 97 win.

LeBron’s performance came just days after another dominant effort against the Trail Blazers, where his 44 points pushed him past Wilt Chamberlain for fifth all-time on the NBA’s scoring list.

James had a slow start to his Lakers tenure as he adjusted to his new teammates but has started to turn back into the player we have all come to expect. Since the start of November, the star forward is shooting 53.1 percent from the field and 50 percent from three while averaging 29.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game.
