The Los Angeles Lakers will once again embark to Las Vegas this summer a little more than a week after the NBA Draft. This season, without a top-five pick in the draft, the buzz around the Lakers will be substantially less than in recent years but excitement levels will likely remain high.
On Tuesday, the Lakers released the schedule for the team’s opening three games which includes match-ups with three lottery teams.

While Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma will not be playing in the Summer League this season, Josh Hart and Thomas Bryant are expected to take part in the games alongside the Lakers’ two picks in the upcoming NBA Draft.
With the Sixers, the Lakers could potentially see Markelle Fultz as well as a top-10 pick from this season’s draft and another late-round pick.
The Bulls boast an intriguing young core that will be bolstered by a pair of draft picks, one of those coming in the top ten.
With the Knicks, point guard Frank Ntilikina and a top-ten pick will likely highlight New York’s Summer League roster.
Los Angeles will also be looking to defend last season’s Summer League title where Lonzo Ball was named MVP while Kyle Kuzma shined bright in the championship game.
On top of taking part in the Las Vegas Summer League, the Los Angeles Lakers will also be playing in the newly-formed California Classic against the likes of the Sacramento Kings, Miami Heat and Golden State Warriors.
