What a difference a day (or opponent) makes. After logging a disappointing opening night performance at home against the Los Angeles Clippers, the Los Angeles Lakers looked like a new team on Friday.
On the team’s first back-to-back of the season, the Lakers endured a quick turnaround to beat the Phoenix Suns on the road, 132-130. Of course, the Clippers look like a legitimate playoff contender in the Western Conference, while the Suns look like they will be a bottom-feeder yet again.
But anyways, this was the Lakers team we expected to see heading into the year. They pushed the tempo, played a fun, exciting brand of basketball and were able to pick up a divisional road win.
The guys get together to break down tonight’s exciting win and the outstanding performances from Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball and more.
