The NBA season is slowly approaching around the corner. With about two months left until the start of the regular season, the Lonzo Ball and Magic Johnson era are set to begin.
According LA Times Clippers’ beat reporter, Brad Turner, the Lakers will host the Clippers on opening night.

This will be an interesting matchup for the Lonzo Ball and the Lakers. The new-look Clippers won’t have Chris Paul to lead them at point guard, but instead Patrick Beverly. Beverly is a great defender in the league. This will be a great test for Ball to go up against one of the best defenders in Beverly.
Barring any injuries before the start to the season, expect the Lakers to roll out Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Julius Randle and Brook Lopez with the shooting guard position up in the air as Caldwell-Pope will be suspended for the first two games of the season after pleading guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated in March.
Last season, the Lakers won on opening night against the Houston Rockets 120-114.
