The Lakers brought in top draft prospect Josh Jackson for a private workout on Tuesday afternoon. There has a been a lot or rumors surrounding Jackson these past few days. Yesterday, Jackson canceled a workout with the Boston Celtics and decided to work out for the Lakers instead.

After his workout with the Lakers, Jackson had some interesting comments about strengths, weakness and playing style.

Jackson mentioned his versatility and athleticism as being his main strengths. He believed that his versatility will allow him to play multiple positions in the NBA.

Some fans may worry that Jackson’s lack of shooting and ballhandling would create a redundant problem with Brandon Ingram on the floor, who also struggled with shooting as well; however, Jackson believed that he and Ingram could be special duo together.

Jackson and Ingram could be a great defensive duo together. Both players can defend multiple positions, which is important in defensive switches that head coach Luke Walton loves to utilize.

Jackson would surely help the Lakers on the defensive end of the floor, but his lack of shooting could hurt them offensively.
