Lakers owner Jeanie Buss donates to Josh Adams’ medical support fund

Pro basketball player, friend and former teammate of Larry Nance Jr., Josh Adams was in a serious car accident recently. Adams suffered a fractured C5 and C6 vertebra but came out of the wreck with his life, which we are all grateful for. Adams’ family set up a GoFundMe (Linked here) to help cover the extensive medical expenses.

Adams’ friend, Nance Jr., was a big advocate in spreading the word of Adams’ GoFundMe, helping out his friend in need. Earlier today, Lakers Outsiders’ own Thai Luong saw a familiar name on the donations list: Lakers owner Jeanie Buss. (which was later confirmed by Nance Jr.)

In her donation, Buss cited her father going to Adams’ alma matter Wyoming and the Lakers’ love for Larry Nance Jr.. No matter what the reasoning would’ve been for donating, this gesture was generous and shines a good light on the Buss name. Dr. Buss would be proud of his daughter on this day.

As of the time of publish (12:21 a.m. Eastern, Friday morning) Adams had met his goal, raising $34,000.

Keep Adams in your thoughts as he works to recover from this injury and support him on his road to recovery.
