2016 NBA Free Agency Tracker — Who has signed where?

As NBA teams and free agents strike agreements once NBA Free Agency officially starts, we’ll post them (along with a link to the original report) here so you won’t miss a beat. Brief analysis of each signing may or may not be provided as well.

 

  • Joakim Noah is close to an agreement with the New York Knicks that would be worth $70M+ over four years. (via Shams Charania)
    • Four years for Joakim Noah kind of seems ridiculous, but the Knicks are going to Knick so what’re you going to do?
      • I have to take this snarky comment back after seeing the Lakers’ signing of Mozgov.
  • The Los Angeles Lakers‘ first free agency call was to Timofey Mozgov (seriously) and they’re making a major run at him. (via Adrian Wojnarowski)
    • It’s now being reported that the Lakers are moving toward a four-year agreement with the center.
    • IT’S A FOUR-YEAR, $64M DEAL FOR TIMOFEY MOZGOV. I’M CRYING AS I TYPE THIS. OH MAN.
    • I don’t why I do this.. I’m gonna try birdwatching instead of following Lakers basketball. Those birds won’t let me down.
  • Restricted free agent Bradley Beal is close to a five-year, $128M deal with the Washington Wizards. (via The Vertical)
  • DeMar DeRozan has agreed to re-sign on a five-year, max contract with the Toronto Raptors (via Sam Amick).
  • The Detroit Pistons have agreed to a three-year deal with point guard Ish Smith. (via David Mayo) The terms are not yet known.
  • The Orlando Magic have reached an agreement with point guard DJ Augustin. (via Woj
  • The Lakers have agreed to re-sign Jordan Clarkson on a four-year, $50 million deal. (via Shams Charania)
  • Nicolas Batum has re-signed with the Charlotte Hornets. It’s a five-year agreement worth $120M. (via Shams Charania)
  • The Detroit Pistons have struck an agreement with Andre Drummond worth $130M over five years. (via Marc Stein)
    • He was a restricted free agent, so this was inevitable.
  • Hassan Whiteside has agreed to a four year deal with the Miami Heat. (via Tim Reynolds)
    • It’s reportedly for the max but Whiteside may renegotiate based on the Heat’s pursuit of Kevin Durant.
  • Jeremy Lin and the Brooklyn Nets have agreed to a three year deal worth $36M (via Adrian Wojnarowski)
  • Al Jefferson is headed to the Indiana Pacers with a three year deal worth $30M (via Adrian Wojnarowski)
  • The Philadelphia 76ers and Jerry Bayless have agreed to a three year, $27M deal. (via Jon Krawczynski
    • The Sixers found a point guard
  • The Memphis Grizzlies and Chandler Parsons have agreed to a four year, $94M deal. (via Adrian Wojnarowski)
    • Parsons was briefly a Lakers’ target, but the market quickly dwindled to just Portland and Memphis.
  • The Portland Trail Blazers and Evan Turner have agreed to a four year, $70M deal (via Adrian Wojnarowski)

  • The Orlando Magic and Evan “Don’t Google” Fournier have agreed to a four year, $85M deal (via Marc Spears)
    • Seriously, don’t google his name.
  • Solomon Hill is headed to the New Orleans Pelicans on a four year, $48M deal (via Marc Stein)
  • Mike Conley is staying in Memphis for a five year, $153M deal (via Tim MacMahon)
    • The Grizzlies gave him an upgrade in Chandler Parsons and a fifth year on his deal. Conley’s signing for the most lucrative deal in NBA history
  • Darrell Arthur is staying in Denver with a three year deal (via Adrian Wojnarowski)
  • Jeff Green is going to Orlando on a one year deal worth $15M (via Jeff Zillgitt)
    • Doc Rivers gave up a first round pick for him
