Over the past day, fans have grown weary of no free agents wanting to come to play for the Lakers. This idea has been reinforced by reports of Hassan Whiteside and Kevin Durant not even giving the Lakers a meeting.

But contrary to belief some max level free agents are possibilities, with a report indicating that Chandler Parsons is interested in signing with L.A.

Chandler Parsons is a five year vet that has shown that he can be a quality starter when healthy, as he put up 18.9 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game in the last two months of the 2015/16 season, and shot 51.9 percent from the floor and 47.7 percent on three pointers.

When healthy is the key term there as he has had injury concerns his entire career with two season ending knee injuries in the past two years.

He is only 27 and a new contract would run through his entire prime, so if the Lakers do indeed sign him they would be getting a modern day SF with little to no decline in his production on the court.
