The Luke Walton era officially begins tomorrow. The Lakers announced today that introductory press conference for their new coach will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. PST.
When the Lakers first hired Walton, they knew that his primary focus will be on the Warriors and their postseason run. The Warriors lost to Cavaliers in a heartbreaking game seven yesterday, which relieves Walton with his duties as an assistant.
Now, Luke’s main priorities are with the Lakers. With the NBA draft coming up on Thursday, this is a great time for Luke to be involved and have his imprints in selecting a key player that can help impact the Lakers’ future.
