LeBron James and setting records is such a recurring theme. James has stretched out an amazing career. Year in and year out, he’s been dominant and exceeded every expectation that came from his early legend. Tonight, James became the owner of the most points scored in the regular season and playoffs combined. He surpassed Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

James went into tonight needing 19 points to set the record. In his 19th season, he’s got it.
James isn’t done setting records, as he eyes the overall scoring lead. If he can keep up these efforts, then he can pass Abdul-Jabbar again.
James has always talked about putting up big scoring numbers while being known as a passer. His high IQ as a distributor is no less impressive than what he’s done with putting the ball in the hoop. The assist record is also one that he will see himself shoot up the list towards. His showing this season gives more than enough of a chance that he can grab the all-time leading scoring record. There’s a lot still left in the tank to use.
Congratulations to the King!
