We all know that LeBron James and Russell Westbrook love hip-hop music. They’re arguably the 1A and 1B of “NBA players who notoriously dance to hip-hop songs on their Instagram stories”, and I’m really not sure who the “A” is and who the “B” is. They both do it so much. It’s only fitting that before they even play a game together for the Lakers, the two players’ love for hip-hop and rap have intersected in the form of a music video.
The two Lakers superstars appeared in Nas’ “Brunch on Sundays” video (featuring Blxst), as they’re seen throughout the video but most notably at the head of the table with Nas himself as the entire group enjoys, well, a little brunch on a Sunday.

According to Complex.com, the video was shot at Catch LA which is one of the most popular restaurants in Los Angeles. There are plenty of other celebrity appearances in the video (although their respective celebrity statuses all pale in comparison to LeBron), including Swizz Beatz, Hit-Boy, Cordae, and comedian/actor Lil Rel Howery (who starred alongside LeBron in the final act of ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’).

Russell Westbrook has definitely been in the public eye as of late. He made waves with his outfits that he wore to New York Fashion Week, doing the same over the weekend at the infamous Met Gala where he appeared along with fellow NBA superstar, Stephen Curry.

As for LeBron, he’s no stranger to getting involved in the hip-hop world. A couple of years ago, LeBron helped produce rapper 2 Chainz’ album ‘Rap or Go to the League’, which spawned this hilarious clip where LeBron came up with the idea for a deluxe rap album (something that’s been down 1000s of times for many years).
Just another day in the life of these two NBA superstar celebrities.
