
The Los Angeles Lakers will, as usual, play in two summer tournaments. Despite no 2021 NBA Draft picks, there is still plenty of interesting talent to watch and evaluate including two two-way signees Joel Ayayi and Austin Reaves who were viewed by many as the two most talented undrafted free agents available.

The Lakers will play back to back games at the California Classic held in Sacramento:
Tuesday, August 3rd – Lakers vs. Heat – 5 PM PT
Wednesday, August 4th – Lakers vs. Kings – 8 PM PT
The team will then fly to Nevada for the annual Las Vegas Summer League and play a total of five games including against number over overall pick Cade Cunningham:

Wednesday, August 11 – Lakers vs. Knicks – 7:00 PM PT – ESPN 2
Friday, August 13 – Lakers vs. Clippers – 7:00 PM PT – NBA TV

The two teams with the best records through four games will play a championship game on Tuesday, August 17at 6 PM PT on ESPN while all 28 other teams will play a fifth consolation match on August 16th or 17th.
