The Los Angeles Lakers played their third straight overtime game since the 1991-92 season. And for the second in a row, they took the Oklahoma City Thunder down, 114-113. Both teams came in short-handed, but gave us a very entertaining two-game series. The Lakers extend their winning streak to six games.

It was a very slow and ugly start to the game. The Lakers got smacked in the first half, going down as much as 20 points. The second half, they started to get into a groove and do what they do.

They another great effort from their bench. Both Montrezl Harrell and Wes Matthews came up big. Trezz finished with 20 points and four rebounds. Wes just stays ready so he don’t have to get ready. In OT, he hit one of his three shots from long range to give the Lakers enough distance to hold the lead.

LeBron James. I’m so happy he plays for the Lakers. He led the team in scoring with 25 points, six rebounds, and seven assists. He made the three in regulation to send it to OT. On the last possession, he had a near steal that set the Thunder’s last second attempt in a scramble and miss.

The Lakers welcome the Memphis Grizzlies to town on Friday night at 7PM PST/10PM EST.
