This is going to be a big one.
The Lakers and Celtics nearly met in the Finals last season, but Boston fell to the Miami Heat and well… you know the rest.
Injury news
The Lakers are listing Anthony Davis (right quad contusion) as questionable for tomorrow's game in Boston. LeBron James (left ankle sprain) is also questionable.

Anthony Davis missed the second night of a back to back in Detroit on Thursday, but will likely play alongside LeBron James as the rivalry means too much for either of them to miss the game.
Celtics out out their shortest injury report we’ve seen in ages:
Injury Report vs. San Antonio (1/27):
Romeo Langford – Right Wrist Surgery Rehab – OUT
Payton Pritchard – Right MCL Sprain – OUT— Jared Weiss (@JaredWeissNBA) January 26, 2021
This is the latest injury report I could find from the Celtics, and not one we’re likely to see change before the game.
Looks as if all of the big stars will be ready to go for tonight’s game. Should be a good one.
Betting central
Lakers (-2.5); O/U 218.5; Moneyline -136
I’m still sitting at a 7-4 betting record since we started doing our suggestions, which I would say is pretty decent. Donny… we’re just not going to talk about his suggestions for the Detroit game.
I might get kicked off of the site if I picked Boston +2.5, but I do strongly think the Lakers will win this one. The road trip isn’t getting any shorter, but this one is too important for LA for them to let up. -2.5 should be a safe bet, of course along with the moneyline if you prefer that. I’ll also flirt with the under for this game, expecting a tight, defensive battle between two juggernauts of their respective conferences.
Kind of weird right now that the only player props with odds available are Marcus Smart, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. I’m going to suggest Jaylen Brown under 23.5, just on a hunch.
