The Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee are among the cream of the league’s crop. Unfortunately for the Bucks, the Lakers snatched away a victory tonight, 113-106. This was a great bounce-back from Monday’s letdown. All-around better effort and contributions. This win puts them at an undefeated 8-0 on the road and 12-4 on the season.

LeBron James may have underwhelmed Monday, but tonight put things back in order. He dropped 34 points on 52 percent shooting along with eight assists and six rebounds. He also shot 60 percent from long range on 10 attempts.

Speaking of three-point shooting, this gave the Lakers the distance needed to dominate this game. They shot 51.4 percent as a team, hitting 15 of their 37 attempts. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was even more impressive than James tonight. His 23 points included seven treys on 70 percent shooting.

Anthony Davis added 18 points and Montrezl Harrell had 12 points as well. Davis started aggressively early, even sharing a few moments with Giannis Antetokounmpo. In the end, it was AD that got to walk off in glory.

The Lakers are back on road against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 PM PST/9 PM EST.
