The Los Angeles Lakers continue to roll after a 117-100 win over the Houston Rockets. This marks the team’s third win in a row, their second over Houston.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis. That’s it, that is the sentence. The duo led all scorers starting with James at 26 points. AD followed with 19 points and 10 rebounds to get a double-double. Both guys were a big part of the team’s defensive efforts along with their offensive showing.

The shooting was tremendous. Poetically, it was reminiscent of the old Rockets’ days. The Lakers finished shooting 43.8 percent on 32 attempts. Bron had lots of fun shooting, too.

Dennis Schröder, Montrezl Harrell, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope all finished with 14 points.

From the start of the game, they set the tone defensively. The Rockets were held to 14 points in the first quarter. There were times when the Rockets’ broadcast said it felt like the Lakers played six guys at a time. The activity level was just that high. The team had 12 blocks and 10 steals on the night.

No rest will be for the weary, as the Lakers continue to trek. They face the Oklahoma City Thunder at 5 PM PST/8 PM EST on the road.
