The moment we’ve all been waiting for. Your Los Angeles Lakers have returned to their rightful place in the NBA Finals. This will be their first time in the NBA Finals since 2010 where they beat the Boston Celtics in seven games for the franchise’s 16th NBA championship. They will be facing the Miami Heat in the 2020 NBA Finals, a definite surprise as the Miami Heat came into the 2020 NBA Playoffs as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. Both teams had dominant runs to get to this point, with the Lakers winning in five over the Trail Blazers, Rockets, and Nuggets. Meanwhile the Heat swept the 76ers, beat the top-seeded Bucks in five games, ending the East with the Celtics, beating them in six games.

The stage is set. LeBron James and Anthony Davis against Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. Alex Caruso against Tyler Herro. Rob Pelinka against Pat Riley. Frank Vogel against Erik Spoelstra. Here’s the full schedule of the 2020 NBA Finals, where the Lakers can capture their 17th championship as early as next Tuesday, October 6th.

Of note, there are two days between Game 4 and Game 5. There hasn’t been more than one day scheduled in between playoff games in any playoff series, other than the Heat-Celtics series that was postponed between Games 3 and 4 to let the Lakers-Nuggets series catch up. That wasn’t planned before the series, with this being the first time that an extra day of rest is scheduled in these wonky. bubble playoffs.

We will see everyone on Wednesday. Be on the lookout for content coming out from us that will help get you ready for the Miami Heat. Let’s go!
