The Los Angeles Lakers finished a classic game two against the Denver Nuggets after Anthony Davis nailed a three-pointer at the buzzer for a 105-103 victory. Davis finished his exhilarating night with 31 points and nine rebounds. LeBron James also added 26 points and 11 rebounds.

Anthony Davis: Superstar

Anthony Davis scored 10 straight points late in the fourth quarter including his game-winner. All night he served as a security blanket every time the Nuggets went on a run. So many questions surrounded his arrival in Los Angeles. Many wondered if he was ready for the big lights of Staples Center. While he wasn’t there tonight, he met the shine and pressure of the Orlando bubble head-on.

Fast Start by LeBron

The first half had LeBron’s hand all over it with LeBron scoring their first 12 points. He notched 20 points, knocking down three of his four shots from long range. Some nights you can look at your guy and see the pop, and early on you could see it with him.

Turnovers!

The Lakers had a very sloppy night with the basketball. They finished with 23 turnovers, including four from LeBron James. Going into game three, they will have to value their possessions to avoid the dramatics of tonight’s ending.

The Lakers will be back in action on Tuesday night at 9 PM EST/6 PM PST.
