The world tragically lost nine lives on Sunday, January 26, due to a helicopter crash. Among the lives lost were prominent figures of the Los Angeles Lakers family in Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna Bryant.
After a very lengthy and difficult week of heart break, sadness, grieving, the Lakers returned to the floor to try and return to normalcy the best they can. But as this week taught us the hard way, there are bigger things than basketball.
On this edition of the podcast, Gary Kester and Honi Ahmadian sit down to discuss a very difficult week, the support from people all over the world, the Lakers’ tribute to Kobe, and some of their favorite memories of the Black Mamba.
On behalf of everyone at Lakers Outsiders, we offer our condolences to the families of the lives we tragically lost. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those families and everyone impacted by this tragedy.
Rest in peace:
