It’s no secret that the Lakers are one of the biggest teams in recent memory. Their size and length creates matchup problems for every team in the league, and they have taken full advantage of this en route to a 30-7 record. Lakers legend Kobe Bryant seems to think they’re impressive as well.
During the most recent episode of the “All The Smoke” podcast, Kobe notes that he thinks the Lakers are “the biggest team that I’ve probably ever seen”. He goes on to say that they look “fantastic” and that the thing they need to invest in is their “health”.

Kobe might know a thing or two about big teams considering he’s been teammates with the likes of Shaq, Karl Malone, Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum, and Lamar Odom, among others.
The Lakers are a very good team and among just a few teams who could reasonably win a title this season. They have superior length, size, and athleticism, and are a matchup nightmare for almost everyone. The biggest obstacle to their success is health.
As Kobe mentioned, they need to invest in health, meaning they need to make sure they are in peak condition when it matters. If they can stay healthy and be at or near full strength come playoff time, it’s hard to see them losing four games to anyone.
