The Lakers should be impressed with how good they have been this year. They are one of the best offensive and defensive teams in the entire NBA and boast a league best 19-3 record that is shared with the Bucks. But according to Danny Green, the team isn’t all that impressed.

Green was asked postgame about winning both games in the recent back to back and said that the Lakers “aren’t impressed by anything.” He also noted that the team has bigger goals.

The Lakers seem to know they are really good. They come in playing with a confidence every night that portrays a team that knows they are the best team on the floor every night.

Green has been a member of multiple championship teams and is no stranger to being on a title contender. To hear that he and the Lakers are already completely focused on “bigger things” is a good sign that this team really does have the mentality to win it all.

There’s still a long way to go, but so far the Lakers have done all of the right things to show that they should be taken seriously as one of the few teams that can win it all.
