In an interview with Rachel Nichols, Danny Ainge complimented the current Lakers in relation to last years disastrous Celtics team.

Ainge complimented the Lakers depth in relation to last years Celtics “equal” depth. He said that the Lakers “have two stars, and there’s no questions, if, ands, or buts about it”

Essentially what Ainge is saying is that the Lakers have two clear stars and then a pecking order after that. Last years Celtics had a roster that all felt equal which is why they failed because there was no pecking order.

Hearing the GM of the Celtics compliment the Lakers is hilarious. It’s even better when you remember that Ainge spent years pining after Anthony Davis.

Make sure to watch the video for full context, especially the last 30 seconds. If you’re not a fan of the Celtics, it’s a good time.

The Lakers are currently 15-2 which is good for the best record in the league. They are arguably the best team in the league, with the best duo, and a good supporting cast.

Granted we are only a month into the season, but it’s been a great time to be a Lakers fan.
