After a disappointing loss against the Clippers on Wednesday night, Frank Vogel’s latest comments on Rajon Rondo might have you feeling even worse.
When talking to media Thursday afternoon, Head Coach Frank Vogel noted that once Rondo returns from injury, he expects him to be used as a starter “a lot”.
He said that depending on the matchup, he will start Rondo in some games, while starting Avery Bradley in others.
If you are as low on Rondo as I am, hearing that is not great. Rondo is probably the second best passer on the team, and he is good at dribbling the basketball, but that’s about his only strengths at this point.
I don’t think it’s necessary at this point to panic, but if Rondo comes back and doesn’t look good, I hope Vogel has enough say to take him out of the lineup.
