Kuzma was previously represented by Priority Sports but fired his agents in July with an eye towards expanding his business interests. His decision at the time came shortly after his former Lakers teammate Lonzo Ball changed his representation.
There was some speculation that Kuzma, who has seemingly had a strong relationship with LeBron James since the latter’s arrival in Los Angeles, would sign with Rich Paul and Klutch Sports which represents Lakers Anthony Davis, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Talen Horton-Tucker and James.
Despite not signing with Klutch, Kuzma’s decision does have a link to James who was previosuly represented by Rose before switching to Klutch. Paul also previously worked under Rose.
Rose currently represents several NBA stars including Carmelo Anthony, Devin Booker, Joel Embiid, Chris Paul and Victor Oladipo. The agent is well known for being an instrumental part of creating the Big 3 of James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh with the Miami Heat.
