The Los Angeles Lakers continue to round out their staff during this busy season. The training staff has their new Head Athletic Trainer, Nina Hsieh.

Hsieh will be working under the returning Judy Seto who will oversee the training staff. The duo will have their work cut out for them to manage the health and wellness of the players. LeBron James missed 27 games with his first major injury, while Anthony Davis has had injuries in the past.

Hsieh, a California State University Fullerton graduate, previously worked with the South Bay Lakers and the Los Angeles Lakers. She initially started with the then Los Angeles D-Fenders in 2008 after stints at collegiate institutions such as the University of California, Santa Barbara as an athletic trainer, working with their women’s basketball team and the men’s soccer team.

Hsieh spent seven years with the G-League affiliate before joining the Lakers at the start of the 2016-2017 season.
