Despite the best efforts from the Lakers, Kawhi Leonard has decided to take his talents to the Los Angeles Clippers, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

Leonard was coming off a championship with the Toronto Raptors and has now put himself in a situation to contend for a third career title as the Clippers are also reportedly trading for Paul George, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Last season, the former San Diego State forward averaged 26.6 points per game on 49.6% shooting with 7.3 rebounds per game and 3.3 assists.

Leonard instantly makes any team he signs with a championship caliber team as we saw in his first year with the Raptors, and now they have their superstar ready to try to go back-to-back.
