Podcast: Lakers reportedly acquire Anthony Davis ahead of 2019 NBA Draft

The Los Angeles Lakers have a knack for acquiring franchise cornerstones through trades and free agency (yes, some in the draft as well). They are looking to add superstars this offseason through both those means, and it appears they have one already done.

The Lakers have reportedly agreed to a deal with the New Orleans Pelicans that will send 26-year-old superstar Anthony Davis to Los Angeles in exchange for Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart and three first round picks, including the No. 4 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.

Did the Lakers give up too much in this reported deal or did they simply need to get a deal done at all costs? How will Davis fit alongside LeBron James?

Mike Garcia (@CanyonDriver) joined me to discuss the blockbuster trade and potential second round targets (via pick purchase) for the Lakers in the NBA Draft and some undrafted free agents to keep an eye on.
