The Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans appear to be closing in on a deal that would finally put Anthony Davis in purple and gold. There is obviously work left to be done before a deal is officially made, but progress seems evident in this situation.
Even with a deal feeling imminent, the real question is going to be what the cost will be for the Lakers. Will it require most of all of their youngsters and the No. 4 overall pick? Will it be the reported offer of Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball and the fourth pick for Davis? Where do the Celtics factor into the situation?
