It’s been a rough week for Lakers fans. Multiple reports have surfaced about how the current front office has handled the coaching search. It also seems like the Rambis family have a significant influence on decisions moving forward.

Current Lakers players have been feeling the same contempt as reported by Chris Haynes of Yahoo sports.

They call it an embarassment. I’m talking about players for the Lakers. They consider an embarassment what’s going on, and it’s not the ideal situation to be in. Most people thought that when Magic Johnson stepped down that that was an opportunity for them to bring in real competent and experienced executives, and they chose not to

Since the resignation of Magic Johnson, the Lakers have made missteps as the organization geared up for a pivotal offseason. There were opportunities to replace Magic with another experienced President of basketball operations with no action being taken.

The Lakers currently have no head coach and are scrambling since they have bungled the negotiations with Ty Lue.

The fans held their protest at Staples Center to voice their displeasure. With reports that those directly involved with the Lakers share those sentiments is not a good sign.

The front office has to have felt the pushback by now. If no changes are made soon, it could be a rough summer ahead.
