Lonzo Ball was one of the main players who ended up missing out on games due to injuries. He wasn’t able to finish out the Lakers season, but he already knows what he’ll be working on this summer.
Throughout Lonzo’s time with the Lakers so far, he’s had a lot going on between his father being outspoken, injuries, and the drama with Big Baller Brand this season. It feels like he’s going to start shutting out all of that outside noise and really just focus on his game and what he’s capable of as a player.
Lonzo Ball: “I think those two weeks before I got hurt, I figured it out. I was playing the basketball I’m capable of playing. Unfortunate I got hurt, and couldn’t come back.”

Players can’t always rush back from an injury and Lonzo is quite aware of that. He plans to start off with some basics and work his way back into playing shape.
“Start off with free throws, catch and shoot, lot of pick and rolls…whatever I can” Zo on what he will work on this summer.

Given the fact that free throws aren’t an area that the Lakers have been the best in, it’s something all of the players should be working on at this point. This summer could prove to be one of the most important for Lonzo, even if he’s still under contract with the Lakers until at least 2021 when he becomes a restricted free agent.
Hopefully, Lonzo will be back to playing at a high level come the start of next season. Seeing how the team bounces back from this season will be the real test for the Lakers.
