The illustrious career of LeBron James just keeps getting better. In Monday’s game on the road against the Memphis Grizzlies James cracked the top-10 in assists in NBA history.

James now sits at 10th in assists, which is good for second among active players (Chris Paul-8th), and fifth in scoring after passing former Laker Wilt Chamberlain earlier this season. He is the only player in league history to reach the top-10 in both categories.

The assist that put him in sole possession of 10th place was a pick and roll with Kyle Kuzma in the first quarter of action. Next up on the list is Gary Payton with 8,966 assists for his career while James is currently over 400 away from catching him.

James has always been a willing and incredibly gifted passer so to see him ascending up the list should come as no surprise.
