Kevin Durant started a new show on ESPN+ called The Boardroom, a show where he’ll talk to various sports personalities about whatever floats their boats. On Monday’s debut show, he had a few words to say to Kyle Kuzma about potentially getting his own signature shoe.

“I can see where Kuz is right now but I can also see the way he works, the way he cares about the game. I can see him going from the merch deal to a signature shoe. The crazy part about it is you gonna inspire so many people cause you’re the 27th pick. A lot of people can’t do what you do cause you came into Los Angeles, your second year you’re playing with the biggest star in sports. You had a great rookie year. You can parlay that into a shoe deal.”

Kuzma has shown that he has a great deal of style, and personally, I would buy a shoe partially designed by him. Typically Spectrum or ESPN will show him walking into the games with whatever his style of the night is, but sometimes he will post his fit to Instagram, like this post below.

As Durant mentioned, Kuzma plays with the biggest personality in sports, LeBron James. If Kuzma plays well alongside James in the playoffs and the Lakers make a run, I can see a shoe company wanting Kuzma to have his own line. I would be one of the first preorders.
