The saga is finally over … for now.
In what felt to many like the longest week ever, trade talks between the Los Angeles Lakers and the New Orleans Pelicans seemed to be all over the place, as the former tried to get Anthony Davis to Los Angeles.
After endless media leaks and never-ending leverage plays, the two sides were unable to make a deal, which will most likely just delay everything until July. But when that happens, the Lakers will have company as the Boston Celtics, among others, will want in on the Davis sweepstakes.
