Podcast: Could the Lakers make a trade for Anthony Davis?

The Los Angeles Lakers pulled away late in the fourth quarter, using a balanced attack to prevent a three-game losing streak. Los Angeles’ 112-104 win over the New Orleans Pelicans improves their record to 19-13 on the season, keeping them in sole possession of fourth place in the Western Conference.

LeBron James tallied another triple-double with 22 points, 14 assists and 12 rebounds in front of another superstar that he said would be “amazing” to team up with. That star, of course, is Anthony Davis, who tallied 30 points, 20 rebounds and five assists himself.

More and more buzz is starting to build around the idea of James and Davis teaming up as Laker teammates. Could a deal realistically get done before the NBA trade deadline this season? Could we expect some major fireworks this summer?

Gary Kester and Jacob Rude discuss the Lakers’ 19th win of the season, Ivica Zubac’s big night and the idea of Davis coming to Los Angeles in a trade.
