Podcast: LeBron James is a Los Angeles Laker; Will Kawhi Leonard be next?

The dream is officially a reality. LeBron James will play for the Los Angeles Lakers.

It may not have been the first night of free agency, but on the first day it, the Lakers may have already been the biggest winners this summer. President of basketball operations Magic Johnson was able to lure James away from his hometown Cavaliers and agree to a deal with the Lakers, even without another superstar already on the team.

The Lakers were plenty busy after landing the best player in the game, as they agreed to a deal shortly after with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, bringing him back for his second season with the team. They also struck a deal with Lance Stephenson and convinced Javale McGee to take a veteran’s minimum deal and leave the defending champion Golden State Warriors.

Will the Lakers go all out to land Kawhi Leonard in a trade to form a gargantuan superstar duo? Should they try to wait like they did for Paul George? Gary Kester, Honi Ahmadian and Jacob Rude discuss a historic day for the Lakers.
