The offseason is filled with a lot of NBA players posting workout videos on social media, generating excitement for fans about the upcoming season. Although Lonzo Ball has been pretty quiet about his workouts this summer, it does not mean that the point guard has not been working on his game.
According to Los Angeles Lakers’ general manager Rob Pelinka, Lonzo Ball has been working hard on improving his strength and overall fitness. Clearly, Ball’s body looks much stronger and bigger compared to his rookie season.
Along with developing his body, Ball has also been studying film with Magic Johnson at least once a week at the UCLA Health and Training Center.
When asked about Lonzo Ball, Pelinka said, “I’ve really seen Lonzo emerge as a young man,” citing Ball's commitment to his workout plan, and his request to watch film with Magic Johnson, which has been happening once a week at the @UCLAHealthTC.

Ball struggled last season to stay on the court because of injuries. The Lakers will be hopeful that as his body gets stronger over the offseason, his durability will improve and keep him on the court for the entire season. Ball’s dedication to his fitness and furthering his knowledge of the game with one the best point guards in Magic Johnson could prove to be a tremendous benefit for the upcoming season.
