The Los Angeles Lakers wrapped up their season on Wednesday night with a win over the Clippers before partaking in Thursday’s exit interviews with the team and media.
With the season in the books, and an impressive one at that, we look back on the good, the bad and the ugly of the 2017-18 season. Ranging from the rookie class to the new signees, the Lakers had many question marks heading into the year and seemed to answer them all in grand fashion.
The team’s 35-47 record is the best since the 2012-13 season when the team last made the playoffs. The positives steps are apparent as the team moves forward.
However, the Lakers head into another with plenty of questions and lots of uncertainty. With the master plan of multiple max free agents still in play and parts of the young possibly needing to be sacrificed, the team is set up for a dramatic summer.
