The Los Angeles Lakers had a long week of Lonzo Ball-less basketball and suffered, dropping games to Memphis and Oklahoma City in ugly fashion.
Meanwhile, as the team moves toward the NBA Trade Deadline, players like Julius Randle and Jordan Clarkson remain in trade rumors with the deadline two weeks away.
While Randle has had his name mentioned as both a trade candidate and a player who could remain a Laker beyond this year, leaving his status up in the air. Clarkson’s name has been mentioned consistently on the trade block and looks like a player the Lakers would move if possible.
And to top it off, the Lakers signed Nigel Hayes from the G-League on Thursday. Hayes, a Wisconsin alum, has spent 30 games in the G-League where he’s been an above-average three-point shooter as a big man.
With all that in mind, the guys get together for another, long overdue podcast to talk about all that is happening in Laker Land.
