Podcast: Lakers lose to Sixers on poor shooting night

The Los Angeles Lakers have been off to a strong start to the season behind their surprisingly stout defense. Their offense, however, has been lacking in many departments and Wednesday was no exception.

The Lakers hosted the Philadelphia 76ers in a tight contest. The team was not able to get anything going offensively, hitting only 38.5 percent of their shot attempts but were able to counteract their cold shooting by securing 22 offensive rebounds.

The rebounding edge was not enough to push the Lakers to a narrow victory over the Sixers as poor defense down the stretch allowed the Sixers to pull away for a 115 to 109 win.

On the latest episode of the Lakers Outsiders Podcast, the guys discuss the exciting matchup between two young teams as well as Ball’s continued struggles. Honi, Jacob, and Grant also talk about Brandon Ingram’s strong showing as well as Jordan Clarkson’s bounce-back season.
