The Los Angeles Lakers were unable to make it two in a row on Friday night as they lost to the Toronto Raptors 101-92 in LA. The Lakers led by 17 points at one point but were unable to overcome the Raptors’ all-star backcourt, in the end.
The Lakers missed three-pointers and free-throws and had a few strange coaching decisions down the stretch of the game. However, they were able to piece together a high-effort showing to keep the game close against one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference.
On tonight’s podcast, the guys get together to discuss the positives and negatives from a strong showing but an ultimate loss against Toronto. They also talk about Julius Randle’s strong play and Lonzo Ball’s continued run of play in his rookie season as well as analyzing Luke Walton’s end-of-game decisions.
