Podcast: Lakers fall to Nuggets again, drop to 0-3 in preseason play

Heading into the 2017-18 NBA season, Los Angeles Lakers fans had reason to be excited about their team. The Lakers have arguably their most talented roster since the 2012-13 campaign, headlined by young, talented players in Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Julius Randle.

Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka also acquired some established talent by trading for Brook Lopez and signing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in free agency. The make-up of the roster has led some to believe these Lakers can surprise some people and possibly be in the mix for the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

After three quick preseason games, however, that excitement seems to be fading in a hurry. The Lakers fell to 0-3 in a blowout loss on Wednesday, the second straight defeat at the hands of the Denver Nuggets, another team people expect to be in the hunt for a lower seed in the Western Conference playoffs.

Should fans be worried about the Lakers already? Should the emergence of Kyle Kuzma land him a spot in the starting lineup? The guys are back to discuss the early results of the Lakers’ 2017 preseason campaign.
