Los Angeles Lakers sign jersey ad deal with Wish

Jersey patches have become more prominent with over half the league having a sponsor on their new Nike jersey. As of Thursday, it appears the Lakers have joined in.

The Lakers have signed a patch deal with the e-commerce company Wish, first reported by Sports Business Daily

The deal is reported to be valued at $12-$14 Million a year for 3 years and will be one of the most lucrative jersey deals. It falls short of only the Warriors’ $20 million deal.

Not only will the patch be on the Lakers jersey but on the G-League South Bay Lakers jersey as well. The deal also includes sponsorships for the new training facility.

The Lakers themselves confirmed the deal on Twitter minutes after the initial reports.
