Brandon Ingram selected to the NBA’s all-rookie second team

Brandon Ingram was announced to the NBA’s All-Rookie Second Team, the league announced Monday.

The second overall pick averaged 9.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.1 assists during his rookie campaign. Ingram found himself ranked in the top-10 in points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals among rookies.

All voting was done by a panel of media members comprised of writers and broadcasters.

Ingram received 83 total points and 11 First Team All-Rookie votes.

This is the third season in a row where a Laker has made the all-rookie team. Jordan Clarkson made the first team after the 2014-15 season and D’Angelo Russell was on the second team after the 2015-16 season.
