The 2017 NBA Draft has finally come and gone. The Los Angeles Lakers added four new players with picks No. 2, 27, 30 and 42 after trades with the Brooklyn Nets and the Utah Jazz.
The Lakers added Lonzo Ball out of UCLA, Kyle Kuzma out of Utah, Josh Hart from Villanova and Thomas Bryant from Indiana. When it was all said and done, general manager Rob Pelinka and president of basketball operations Magic Johnson added one of every position besides small forward, adding depth to four positions.
What draft grades would we give the Lakers for their 2017 NBA Draft class? Were there prospects they should have taken instead? Do these four draft picks impact the free agency period that starts on July 1? The guys sit down and discuss what went right and what went wrong for the Lakers in Thursday’s draft.
