As we trudge forward in one of the more memorable off-seasons in recent memory, The Los Angeles Lakers find themselves amidst the chaos yet again.
According to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN, the Knicks have talked to each team in the top-5 of the draft about Kristaps Porzingis. Ā Shelburne also noted that the Knicks would look to draft Josh Jackson if they could get a deal done.
Well look at that, the Lakers have the second overall pick in the draft.
Generally speaking they asked for a the top-5 pick and a young player on a star track. https://t.co/wbh5xqKk5d

Itās probable that the Knicks and the Lakers are split on a return for Porzingis, a 21-year-old who has established himself as one of the young premier talents in the association.
The Knicks want a young talent coupled with a top-5 pick and if we go by previous reports, the Lakers probably arenāt interested in trading Brandon Ingram.
The Lakers are expected to finalize a trade package that would send DāAngelo Russell out for Brook Lopez on Thursday night.
Of course, they could also have no interest in Porzingis. With Paul Georgeās presence looming large, the Lakers could be committed to following their own path forward.
